Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
By creating an account or using Texas Lodging Data (“the service”), operated by Sookoon LLC, you agree to these terms.
Accounts & trial
You need an account to use the service. New accounts include a 14-day free trial of premium features. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Subscription & billing
After the free trial, premium features require a paid subscription billed monthly at the price shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account, and access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable, including for partial periods. Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately.
Acceptable use
The service is for lawful research and comparison of lodging revenue. You agree not to scrape, resell, or redistribute the underlying data in bulk, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.
Not affiliated with the State of Texas
Texas Lodging Data is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts or the State of Texas.
Data accuracy — no warranty
Revenue figures are derived from hotel occupancy-tax filing files obtained from the Texas Comptroller and are provided “as is” for informational purposes. Some figures are estimated or reconstructed, and filings may contain errors or omissions. We do not warrant that the data is complete, current, or error-free, and it should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any investment, financial, tax, or other decision. You are responsible for independently verifying any figure before acting on it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the data, arising from your use of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms or the service over time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
