Texas Lodging Data, operated by Sookoon LLC (“we”, “the service”), provides tools to search and compare historical Texas occupancy-tax revenue. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and an optional display name, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) to create and secure your account.
• Billing information — if you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and stores your payment details. We do not see or store full card numbers; we retain only a customer reference, subscription status, and renewal date.
• Your content — the portfolios you create and any notes you add to properties.
• Session data — a login cookie so you stay signed in.

How we use it

We use your information solely to operate the service: to authenticate you, process your subscription, save your portfolios and notes, and provide the features of your plan. We do not sell your personal information.

The occupancy-tax data

Property revenue figures are derived from hotel occupancy-tax filing files obtained from the Texas Comptroller. This is business filing data, not your personal information, and is presented for informational use. Texas Lodging Data is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts or the State of Texas.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can delete individual portfolios at any time, and you can permanently delete your entire account and its data from your account settings — this also cancels any active subscription. Note that our payment processor may retain invoice records as required by law.
